Hear Me Roar!: Sweet 16 days of government shutdown and we are now back open and running...well until January, where they have kicked the can down the road to delay making definitive budget decisions. Hopefully we will not be discussing this again at that time.
On a positive note, the reflection this week really puts a smile on your face and makes you think about ways that you could have in the past and can in the future change upsetting situations to benefit those who are less fortunate. I was happy to come across this story of how one family pulled together to turn their daughter's cancelled wedding into a benefit for the homeless, rather than letting the funded reception go to waste.
Finally, closing with a "dog" theme, the project this week is a Simple Snoopy Costume and the last article takes a look at the idea that all dogs go to heaven, inspired by an interesting waiting room conversation!
